history

Way back before the WWW existed, Music Machines began as the occasional FTP archives for the Analogue Heaven mailing list. These archives were moved to Hyperreal and began to be organized and made web-accessible. Eventually, Analogue Heaven was moved to Hyperreal, and the archive web site became more general than just analogue synths (though a bias towards analogue and vintage equipment remains). Everything at Music Machines has been contributed by volunteers. If you have something to add, please let us know.
