WHAT THE HELL IS THIS "Seq. Exp."? > > > Rob > Hi, I have one of such built in my Pro-One. It was designed by Per Linne, in the early '80s in Sweden. As the keyboard scanning in the Pro-One is done by a uP, it was easy to install a digital seq. It has a small h/w panel with 8 push buttons and a clock speed knob which goes between the keyboard and the front panel. Also has a very tiny, sexy alphanumeric 4 digit display. On the back panel: Clock in/out, tape in/out jacks. It is a 1760 events capacity seq., one event is a note on, or a note off. It has 10 patterns and 10 songs. Also 10 transpose patterns (any of the patterns transposed anywhere, can be used as part of the songs.). Real, step and tapped in recording modes. You can transpose the songs/patterns in real time from the keyboard. Many editing functions. Non volatile memory. New arpeggiator functions:playing order kept, memory etc. I also have the original Eprom, if I need the original seq., I can swap the chips. (Never did that) I love this, also looks cool on board. Many friends wanted to buy my Pro-One just because this seq. There are so many features, but I have to stop somewhere. Ah, ja the original price was 1700 swedish corun (or how to spell it? sorry!) Happy noisemaking, Laszlo
