If the price is right, buy it! It has balanced and unbalanced ins/outs with a direct signal switch. There are separate controls for chorus, echo, S on S, and Reverb, the knobs control the intensity of the chorus, mode of echo (see diagram), volume of echo-S on S, and the volume of reverb (which is spring). The echo knob has 6 positions which engage and disengage the heads. The diagram below shows the engaged heads with an ' * '. switch position 1 2 3 4 5 6 h 1 * * * e a 2 * * * * d s 3 * * * There are three push buttons to engage/disengage chorus, echo, and S on S, also corresponding footswitch inputs. There is a switch for repeat/single and two knobs, one for intensity and the other for repeat rate. There are two tone knobs (bass and treble). It has two level switches, one for input, the other for output, three positions, 0 -25 -50. And finally, a pretty level LED. Oh yeah, it's a standard 19" wide and about 4 rack spaces high. I remember someone telling me awhile back that the Roland echoes were noisy, I can't speak about the others, but this unit is very clean. Did I miss anything? Will this get into the archive? I didn't see any info there on this unit when I was looking for info. Later... Vince. Squishy Records
