Then again, I only just got the thing today :P Yes, a 727 can accept DIN Sync24 in. I didn't think it could, but it just did, so I guess it can :) Apparently, so can a 707 -- despite the fact that I've heard from some well-known musicians that it can't -- maybe it just doesn't work *right*. OK, this is how you do it: Put in Track Play mode with it "off" (not the power -- you know, not running) Hold down the shift key and press the Sync Mode button, watch the display, it cycles through the following: 5-d --- DIN Sync In 5-|- --- FSK in 5-n --- MIDI In 118 --- 727 is the master, sending Sync24 & MIDI beat clock out [the display will read whatever tempo it's at -- not just 118 :) ] The above symbols are not accurate -- they are near-ascii approximations. However, those of you who read your mail with Roland monitors should see them correctly ;) Sorry about the error, but I've always used anything MIDI with MIDI. The nice thing about the 727, is that it knows the difference between Start and Continue from DIN Sync -- you don't have to reset it after every stop :) PEACE OUT :) MARK
