Section one is owners, section two is people interested in buying one now or in the future, and section three is users who don't own. The purpose of this list is to enhance a synergy between Juno enthusiasts. As I read mail from various lists (emusic, synth, analogue heaven, sgroup) I note who proclaims themself as an owner, user, or looker and offer to add them to the list; a file on my PC. As additions are made to the file I keep, I will (aperiodically) publish it so we know who we are. If you have anything to share, like support software, please upload it to the Analogue Heaven ftp site. If you can help a looker find a unit, email them. This is VERY informal and purely for the purpose of helping 106ers (et al) find and share resources. Of course, feel free to email me with any 106 information you feel should be in this file. Mike Perkowitz maintains the Analogue Heaven Web site where Juno information may be found. Main interest is in computer analysis and generation of music. Music-wise, I'm primarily a bass player, with rather strong interest in sequencing and sound synthesis. I use a Peavey MIDIBase as my primary MIDI Controller. My main musical activities at the moment are development of an integrated music editor, which includes sequencing, patch editing/librarian, sound synthesis, a macro language which includes tools for translation, rotation, random numbers and fractals, and MIDI file storage and playback. Hooks for generation and analysis of four part harmony/voice leading are included. Also included will be output for MusicTeX and BTC. The first version of this product is basically a shell that controls csound, sox, glib, ravel, midicc and btc, all tied together with TCL. All tools are and will remain freely available. Development is currently under way on DOS and MS-Windows platforms with plans for porting to Linux/Xwindows. -------------- Steve Elgersma elgersma@wright.aps.uoguelph.ca Computing and Information Science University of Guelph, Guelph, Ontario, CANADA Phone: (519)824-4120 x6221 FAX: (519) 767-0573 I own Juno a 106 and an MKS-7 I am a member of the following music related mailing lists: analogue heaven, (jean-michele jarre), (vince clarke) Other info: * Have an X-OR profile for the Juno 106 (atari ST version) * Have a manual for the MKS-7 (owners) -------------- Keith Hall khall@S850.MWC.EDU -------------- Leigh Smith Home: leigh@psychok.dialix.oz.au +61-9-450-2014 Dept of Computer Science University of Western Australia: leigh@cs.uwa.edu.au +61-9-380-1947 Fax: +61-9-380-1126 I have written a DOS based editor/librarian for [the Juno-106]. -------------- Sean F.
