Juno's ports and controls:
  There are two 1/4" jacks on the back of you Juno labeled SAVE and LOAD.
  There is also a switch labeled MEMORY PROTECT, on the back, it has a
center OFF position and left/right ON positions.
  On the far-right side of your keyboard, to the right of the patch memory
buttons are three buttons: SAVE, VERIFY and LOAD

To Save:
  Hook up the SAVE jack to a tape recorder mic/line input, or your PC sound
card mic/line input.
  Start the recorder, then press SAVE on the Juno.
  About 45 to 60 seconds later the tones will end and the Juno's display
will show [--].
  Stop the recorder.

To Verify:
  Connect the headphone output of the tape player or computer to the LOAD jack
and adjust the volume to a medium setting.
  Start the tape or sound file playing and press the VERIFY button on the
Juno.
  After about 45 to 60 seconds, if the VERIFY indicator goes out and the
display shows [--] then verify completed successfully.
  If the display shows [Er], an error occurred.
  - be sure your pressed the VERIFY while the pilot tone was still sounding
  - adjust the playback volume
  - check for correct connection of the audio cable

To Load:
  Connect the headphone output of the tape player or line-out/headphone output
of the computer to the LOAD jack and
adjust the volume to a medium setting.
  Set the MEMORY PROTECT switch to OFF.
  Start the tape playing and press the LOAD button on the Juno.
  After about 45 to 60 seconds, if the LOAD indicator goes out and the
display shows [--] then the load completed successfully.
  When loading is complete, set the MEMORY PROTECT back to ON.


   save your patches on more than one tape (or if you save to your PC, copy
the file to a few different floppy disks) as magnetic media isn't the most
reliable long-term
storage.
