They are pretty sexy!!! I know some friends selling their Wave after 2 weeks because they haven't find them pretty cool. You have to live with some stuff, like no mixer for the oscis and so on, but therefore you get very quick new, I mean completly new sounds out of it. But don't expect too much, you have to play a while, till you get familiar with the wavetables (thanks to michael for the description of the WTs). I love mine and it is the fattest bass I can get from a synth. I like the Wavetable 26 (PPG starts with WT 0 I guess the uwave is a little bit different and start with 1) with these s/h stuff. If you scan it very fast and build up a bass it sounds like distortion. And so on....for me the best e-pianos and bell sounds! But I have no Prophet VS, so no comperition possible. The best of the synth is the sequencer, where you can build up hooklines and give them different cutoff values for every tone!! I like it very much, whether it is a pain in the ass to handle with this, only number codes! Yup, that does it for tonight!!! Cord Xpander.....It's a MAN'S SYNTHESIZER. Now take your little silver chiclet-thingies and sit in the corner...
