I have the technical data from the cat and the cat SRM. They increased the lfo speed range and sure they added the delay slider and the LED. Also the filter response to a larger range, instead of 20Hz-20kHz, it response now from 5Hz-27kHz. That means they definetely change the filter from the orig. Cat to the CAT SRM. But what happened from the SRM to the SRMII. What Filter are these two cats using. According to Juergen the CAT is using a SSM2040. Barry's schematics are saying that it uses the SSM 2044 filter. Did they change the filters from the SRM to the SRMII??????? The SRM Cat was build first in 79. Did SSM produced the 2044 at this time???? >- Polyphonic/Monophonic switch >- Polyphonic 2-note memory >- Suboctave waveform >- Mixable WaveShapes >- 4 notesequencer patch (?) This is the sample and hold feature. With using the suboscillator on VCO1 and the additional pulse you can form steps. With switching the s/h to VCO1 you can do this "4 step sequencing" on VCO2. So, no real sequencer here. However, switching the CAT to the "Poly" (2 voice mode) you can change the VCO1 rate with the lower key and play the "sequence" with the upper key, there you also can tune it. >- LFO delay + LFO Monitor. > >Anybody knows if they added any features during the SRM->SRMII transition, >also, what did they change electronically? > >Mike Every input is welcome!
