I mean, does it usually cause damage >in other components if it blows ? Juergen absolutlely. It messed up the PC board on my ob8. Replace it with a healthy rectifier, and make sure you heat sink it. It'll only cost you a few bucks, and will save you a lot of headaches and possibly some damage. I replaced mine, but the pads were gone, so I had to mount it off the pc board, and run wires to the other ends of the traces that the rectifier was originally connected to. Tony
