Much boomier than the wimpy Taurus II's. It's true that Steve Hackett's brother John put them up on a stand and played them with his fists (his parts were too hard for feet anyway). Made famous by Genesis - Trick of the Tail tour 1976, making the people in the audience look like the guy in the Maxell ads (hair blown back). Best player I've seen - Jon Camp of Renaissance, who should have fallen over the way he was playing. Ironically my unit was smooshed in the '94 Northridge earthquake. I hammered out the shell but there's still a +12v short somewhere (trace cuttin' time, when I get around to it). ______________________________ Reply Separator _________________________________ >The Taurus I has foot-sliders for filter cutoff and I think volume as >well. And there's also an octave range switch methinks (going from >memory).
