Formanta "MINIVOKS" This is a 16-note polyphonic analogue synth made by the "Formanta" radio factory in USSR. It is sort of a "little sister" to the Polivoks. It has 1 VCO, 1 LFO, 1 self-oscillating VCF and 1 VCA. Great for strings and pads but useless for basses, you can also make trippy squelchy sounds with it thanks to the wicked filter which is obviously related to that of the Polivoks. Note that Minivoks isn't really the name of this machine; it doesn't have any name written on the unit, it only has the same logo as the big Polivoks. Also, this is quite a rare unit; the biggest experts of Soviet synths, most of them know little or nothing about it! I know what I do, because I own one!
