The Springs are in a big seperate box wirch two input's and outs connected with RCA connectors. the spring box is about 1 feet long and 5 inches high 4 inches deep. I actually like that spring reverb sound much more than the RE201 Roland ones or the ARp 2600 ones. Not much noise and quite long but clear sound (for a spring reverb). I like the Roland RSS rack reverb better though in means of sounding old and "analogue". noise: sweepable from white to pink. I read in some article that is done by 6db LP. Pretty noisy unit :-) additional feature is the output of "black" noise, which are randomised triggers around 10 Hz. no adjustment here.
