Hisssss... output is too noisy for something this new and modern. I have received feedback from a couple of other users and they said the same thing. 2. Display is not backlit, I can't see the damn thing without the room being lit up which it is not, I like it somewhat dark in here. 3. The pads feel terrible, don't respond to velocity, feel like they're gonna break and double trigger to much. The whole unit has a cheapness to it. 4. You can't set up nice big drum kits across a keyboard, all you get is the 13 sounds in each drum kit. I like to have a lot more sounds at my fingertips when using a keyboard for sequencing. 5. The filter is getting on my nerves, sounds like one their GM modules, very metallic and painful. I still do like the sounds but it just aint cutting the mustard for me. It's heading back from whence it came and I'm getting another RY30. Now, all that being said, I still think the 202 is a lot of fun and a BIG improvement over the MC-303. I do like the samples, the filter is okay with moderate use of resonance and the effects are nice. Also keep in mind I am PICKY as Hell as to what I want in a drum and percussion source so you may as well just disregard everything I have to say about this or any other drum machine/module. And by all means please hit my page for a bunch of new Real Audio files. goombye steve d -- AH Compilation Tape Info Synth Crap Gear For Sale Music Marmoset Recipes http://users.nac.net/skullsaw This is my synth. I returned mine for a number of reasons. The pads double triggered like crazy and a general cheapness in build quality. The output was very hissy and even moreso when using the effects. The filter was fun for a bit but after a while I found the sound to be very grating, sounds like a Roland GM module. On the plus side i did like the samples and realtime control but I'm a picky SOB and I want it all. steve d -- AH Compilation Tape Info Synth Crap Gear For Sale Music Marmoset Recipes http://users.nac.net/skullsaw This is my synth.
