I just got one about a month ago, but have to admit that I haven't used it that much. Although mine is physically in beautiful shape, it seems to be kinda buggy and has a mind of it's own. Also, I am having problems getting the string section to work, and this section was one of the reasons I bought it. I have heard that reliability is generally a problem on these things, especially with the membrane switches that are no longer produced. I got to fool around with one that did work properly and I really liked it--it seemed to have some pretty cool, if somewhat limited, multitimbral capabilities, but the real jewel in the crown was the built in phaser. Although I own one, I have been avoiding it until I get it fixed, but would advise you not to buy one unless you can actually play it first. Although they are cool-looking in a monstrously ugly way, you might find that a really clean machine does not respond the way you want it to. BTW--can anyone recommend a good keyboard service tech in the Philly/Baltimore corridor? I live in Delaware and need to get this beast fixed... ron wrote: > Has anyone ever seen one of these for sale? ...How much??? > Have any of you ever played an ARP Quadra or have any info about them? > I like the raunchy squeaky sounds and noises of the Solus. > Is the Quadra capable of producing similar sounds? > > Thanks in Advance, > Ron. > > ps.
