The FB01 is the absolute lowest of the low of FM synths. Go look yee at a TG77. The TG has 6 ops each capable of producing 16 different waveforms. They can be arranged in 45 algorithms (the DX7 has 36) with the big bonus that you get 3 programmable feedback loops that can be connected how you want. This give you ability to wire the operators up pretty much anyway you want to. Oh yeh, when set in fixed frequency mode the operators can be tuned down to 0.001 Hz and it's got filters. I ain't been raving about this box for nothing. Ab. --
