Is this true? >- M. Yes.. It took me a while to get it right but it does work. The SixTrak, MAX and Multi-Trak will respond to continuous controllers for all parameters. This will work in both poly or mono (multi) modes. In the case of multimode the unit will respond to continuous controllers discreetly for each channel. Make sure you have turned LOCAL CONTROL OFF after setting the mode and base channel. The controller number=parameter number + 2. The parameter numbers are listed on top of the SixTrak but aren't printed on the top of the MAX, the range is 00 to 35 with cutoff being #19, resonance #20, ring-mod amt #29 and voice volume #35. The MAX and Multi-Trak will both respond to velocity as well but the default on the MAX has this disabled (I don't remember the enable command off the top of my head). If you have a sequencer that can chase controllers at the beginning of the sequence, you can use this feature to actually program basic sound parameters on the MAX if you have no other way to program the patches. -Christopher ________________________________________________________________________________ "Litho" M.
