There is probably more on this in the archives, and I ain't no MIDI expert, but since I do use a six trak I'll take a shot at this. First off, Omni On is off (did the government invent MIDI?? :) and Mono is on. Then set a MIDI channel making sure it is less than 12. The first voice will be set to that channel (eg. 11), then the next voice will be set to the next number up (eg. 12), etc until the last voice is set to a channel equal to five plus the chanell number of the first voice (eg. 11 + 5 = 16). Does that make sense?? My Six Trak has "Trak 11" which is the latest firmware -- I bought it from Whine Country for about $50. Even including that cost, the Six Trak is an outrageous value.
