There are so many new features (new from the MC-303) so I'm going to tell you a few of my favorites. There's a new mixer which allows you to slowly bring parts into patterns, not to mention the ability to adjust the pan, keyshift, reverb, delay, and efx levels while playing. The megamix function is the most ingenious part because it allows you to mix different parts from different patterns together creating a very continuous sound to any number of patterns. Every pattern becomes like a record and mixing them well takes practice. The last amazing feature I'll discuss (for now) is the ability to store as many patterns as you want. The box itself can hold up to 200 user patterns not to mention another 200 per memory card you purchase. There's a memory card slot which enables unlimited (well, not financially for some) patterns. The MC-303 can only hold 50 user patterns and has no room grow. I think the MC-505 is going to a very successful product. I can't stop creating on mine!!!!!
