Never done it myself. > >Marc Actually the unit in question would be an OP-8M (not MP-8M) which will convert 8 channels of CV/Gate into MIDI or DCB (but not both at the same time). It can be set to send out multitimbrally or polyphonically. Wicked for creating semi-random drum patterns using the 101's sequencer (driven by 808 trigger out) to send MIDI notes to a 909 or other drum machine. Sounds odd but the results are nice. Further, with the OP-8M, you can combine CVs and gates from separate sources into a single MIDI channel, great for creating hybrid melodies. -Christopher
