First it has the 100 pattern memory as opposed to 7. Second it doesn't have that horrid cheap flimsy keyboard. But there are some biggies too. The rack has Osc sync. This is nice touch missing on the keyboard The Rcak has a one channel external midi-CV convertor *and* and one channel cv-midi convertor. 1/4 jacks all around. THis means you can drive an analogue via midi or run the bassstation with a cool analogue sequencer and save the pattern to midi. *very* nice feature. The rack is tiny. Like 3-4" deep or so. fits in any rack case or box and is lightweight. I;'d say hands down it is better than the keyboard at approx $100 difference.
