Some guys asked for the specs of the Quasar by Quasimidi. Let's first cite  
my Messe writeup from spring '94.

The Quasar offers 24 voice polyphony with 16-part multimode. Sounds are  
created by PCM, FM and additive. Memory is 1000 sounds in 64 Mbit ROM.
Two FX-Processors with 50 algorithms (including Vocoder, Ring Modulator, Rotor
cabinet), arpeggiator (syncs to Midi clk), Stereo out, 4 individual
outs. Midi (2 in with merge, out, thru). 24 bit technology, analog sounding
filter (6dB/12dB/24dB) with Resonance, 1000 single sounds, 200 ROM / 100 RAM
performances, 19 drum sets (vocal, 808, 909, techno, ...), Midi modulation
matrix, portamento, General Midi compatible, 2 expansion slots for RAM or ROM
sample memory.
