Subject: Vocoder?

	For those who are interested and have a Quadraverb+, there is a way to
make your unit act similar to a vocoder.  I understand that this is not how a
vocoder works, but it is a great effect nonetheless.

	Go to the configuration page and set it to resonator -> dl -> rvb.
In the pitch page, set the resonator decay to 99 and connect a MIDI keyboard
and send note messages to excite and change the 5 resonator frequencies in 
real time.  Whisper into a mic and turn off all of the dry signal.  Be careful
that the mic isn't too close to the speaker since it is very succeptible to 
feedback (headphones work the best).  The sound is somewhere between a jaw
twanger and a vocoder, depending on what kind of signal you are sending to it.
Sadly, it is almost impossible to use live but great in the studio.  
I call mine the "Mic Twanger".
