Handclaps are really one of the finest sounds on the Dr-110. Find on the circuit board capacitor "C50", this is a 2.2uf electro cap. Remove it from the circuit board and replace it with a "4.7uf" electro capacitor. Make sure you get the polarity of the Capacitor right into the circuit board as it is marked. Voila, easy. It should sound nice. _____________________________________________________________________ Snare drum "Snappy" decay env. ext. :: I thought i didn't like the sound of the white noise part of the snare originally, until I extended the decay time of it and noticed how warm it can sound, I like the end result of this mod alot. Find on the circuit board capacitor "C52", this is a 1uf electro capacitor. Remove it from the circuit board and replace it with a "4.7uf" electro capacitor, making sure to again observe the polarity when soldering it into the board. Nice trailing splashy snares are a now yours. _____________________________________________________________________ Hope people find this info useful. I'm really trying to keep the dr-110 small and portable, so there really is no room for me to add any pots or switches. Just trying to make it sound more to my taste.
