softclip is a limited version of a shareware program for the Mac. Purpose: to simulate the effects of tube distortion on audio files, in the digital domain. Program will only work on short sound files. Full version costs $30. The author indicates in the read-me file that it is ok to upload to other BBSs and sites. File is compressed using stuffit.
