While on the subject of LExicon, tho this is not entirely analog (or at all for that matter) I want to put a hearty plug in for the LExicon jamMan. Quite a nice unit, it does delays (1 to 16 repetitions) which you can sync by manual tap entry then PERFECTLY divide down the delay time (1/2, 1/3, 1/4) at the touch of a button. It also samples with lengths determined by the MIDI clock and loops it perfectly. You can also use it to make overlayed samples to your hearts desire. Very nice for building Seefeel-like samples of lushly layered hearty analog goodness! I am going to love to have this on a send during a live show, I will just send differnt things from the mix to it, have it sample exactly 1 measure (determined by MIDI clock) and then I can use it later in the performance to harken back to an earlier movement. I also use it as kind of up to 8 tape loops whose lengths are PERFECTLY cut to MIDI time. It comes with 8 seconds but can be expanded out to 32 seconds. Another plus is the fact thaty most (all) of the front panel controls are accessible via MIDI. The only bad point is it loses its contents when turned off and there is no way to back it up! Get the sampler handy!
