It's the quintissential Holiday Inn 60's sound. It was designed for Hammond B3 players, so they could have a little rhythm accompaniment as they played their lounge gigs at the local bar or bar mitzvah. It has a variety of preset patterns, and no programmability or sync. You just push a button and the champagne music starts to flow. Classic patterns such as merengue, waltz, march and even 'rock-n-roll'. You can mash down two or more buttons and will actually combine patterns. I seem to recall (this is from memory) that there were buttons to turn off the snare and percussion too, so that you could get variations. I believe I uploaded individual sounds on to hyperreal. Actual patterns are available from Big Fish Audio on their "B3 and Friends" sampling CD (I only mention that because I couldn't upload the patterns, because they own those. But *I* own the individual hits, coz I didn't sell those to them. Ain't copyright wacky? :) So check the sounds out, and keep in mind you'll have to do some major hacking to make it useful, or just sample the patterns each time you want to use it. Or just use the hyperreal samples and give the thing to Adam. ;) . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
