Very nice sounding box, indeed, but it seems to lack the filter which limits the sound producing capabilities quite a bit. Soundwise it is pretty different from Tama, Simmons and Pearl ones. Somehow it seems a little rougher and scratchier. I think I am going to use it for snare-like sounds, and high congas. Bass does not sound as nice as on Tama, and much closer to simmons. I really enjoy the cosmetic appearence of this unit. It is black with white text and colourful knobs, looking like something that was made during the 70's era. It has 5 channels, each has the following controls: - sensitivity - osc decay - noise decay - sweep - pitch - noise/osc balance - pan - volume - click button It has the following I/O's: 5 trig ins, foot switch in, 5 audio outs, 1 stereo mix out, 1 stereo headphones out. NO midi, no sexy leds....
