Real World Interfaces / Robin Whittle Design Works, of 9 Miller Street, Heidelberg Heights, VIC 3081. This guy's been around for simply *ages*. Possibly Australia's foremost synth-hacker, he's got mods & retrofits for just about anything you care to name - and if he doesn't have something, he can design it. I'm the proud owner of one of his products, the world's first MIDI retrofit system (circa 1984, a matter of weeks after MIDI was announced) which will work on *any* digitally-scanned keyboard - mine's fitted into one of my CS-70M's, and it's performed flawlessly for the past eight years. Other goodies which are unique to Robin include - Triple 6 (voice, programming & s/n improvements to the TR-606) - MIDI retrofit for the Jupiter-8 which, apart from the normal functions, modifies the sound generators so that the VCA's respond to velocity information, and an amazing twist called Filter FM (VCO2 freq. modulates the VCF's cutoff freq) - new FX prgrograms for old multi-FX units from Alesis, Yamaha & Roland - new wavetables for the DX-7, TX-7 and TX-x16 (replaces the built-in sine waves with 12 new waves) ... and lots of others. Why not write to the above address & see what the man has to offer! > Buy a Deep Bass Nine! They're WICKED! *:) Blyecch ...
