The data I was looking for on Voltage controlling a clock to control the frequency of Curtis 3394 chips, is nonexistant, as this chip (not the 3396) is directly voltage controllable. (Duhhh. That's what I get for not reading closely enough). Any builders out there, listen up: :) If you're looking for a simple way to build a synth, get yourself ahold of some Curtis 3394 chips (VCO; VCF; VCAs) (out of production though, so start searching the scrap heaps for dead Sequential Split 8's), get an On Chip Systems data book, add an ADSR or 2 and an LFO or 9, and you've got yourself a simple little 1V/octave single oscillator synth, for dirt cheap!
