Don't You like >the sound of these? Or are there other problems I don't know of? >As I have often said, I prefer SSM2040 (old Prophet) to CEM3320. But >nevertheless, the 3320 is far closer to that legendary 2040 than the 2044 >is. To my ear and taste, every machine that I've ever heard with a 3320, has sounded to me to be, too thin and or cold, as compared to those with 2040s and 2044s. I've got 2 x 2040's which I can't decided what to do with yet, and after they're used, I'm going to discrete. It's quite possible that it's all in my imagination, as well! :) Ric Keep yourself warm at night, with an analog modular synthesizer.
